If you know that you are in this for the long haul,I'd say get some 2nd hand 1200/1210's definately. I got some cheap direct drives about 15 years ago and have been struggling with them ever since!

I bought a second hand 1210mk2 last weekend and when I got home thought the 33/45 buttons seemed a bit unresponsive. i put it down to the fact that its been a few years since I've played around with one and that they were always like that.

Theres no rules stating what gear you should use to make dubstep. They are some serious synths you've got there,all you need is imagination and creativity.

Soundbwoy yes they started doing a bit of Funky early this year. They do Dark Knights' stuff, Roska, NB Funky and a few other bits. I didn't hear it from the horses mouth,but it came from a trusted source.

Not yet cos none of the shops down here in Brighton have got it in (or even heard of it!) Anyone know who's distributing it? I got Vol 1 in Uptown last year and still love it. I think I like this one even more
