i prefer to use my asio driver for my soundcard when using ableton, but it means that all other pc audio, media player , youtube etc will not work.

i have to select direct x wave driver in ableton to get any sound out of any other programs whie it is running.

is there anyway around this?

seems to work ok , if i first select the parameter and click show automation in new lane before recording it.

when i record automation of a parameter on ableton if i already have one recorded when i try and record automation for another it seems to delete what i have already for different parameters, and i only seem to be able to have one paramater sequenced to automate?

worked it out fine in massive just cant see any relevant sliders in the automation pop out on the ableton bit.

shame u can click and assign actual knobs on the vst's would be alot easier with these more indepth ones

Okay, so on the mod matrix, assign modulation wheel, then on the parameter selecting thingy, just go LFO>LFO speed 2 or whichever one you have it on.
Create an envelope for modulation, badda bing, badda boom.

i wont to control the frequencyy, on quad lfo one or 2 any really.

i gone through the whole list whilst tweaking the knob back and forth on the actual vst and nothings moved.
double checked with the filter cutoff just to make sure., they do move

build up a collection of good samples, including lots u make yourself.

organise them in one place, rather than scattered across 3 different hardrives.


pick a synth you like and stick with it for a while . start tunes by making the synth first then add the rest, mix up your work pattern.
