hmmmmmm... not quite sure what you're looking for. are you looking to compress low end, or leave it be and get it huge in the mix? In the case of #2, yeah-- the api2500 thrust circuit is essentially a HPF, so you can squash things above a certain level,but leave your low end huge-- and not forcing ...

Could you ask "Ben Subvert"? some sound samples would be really really cool as well... we could do a hardware vs. plugin test with it as well.

Hardware compressors
Anyone have any actual experience with a hardware compressor on lots of sub and bass frequencies. I know that the API 2500 has a nice thrust circuit feature that should be able to handle low frequencies well but im not sure how the circuitry would respond to really grimey sounding stuff in regards t...

if you knew how to properly sidechain you wouldnt need that feature. and no automation is 1 way of doing it.. there are other ways... you just need to think outside the box...

no I am not the waves police I was just answering your question. and a word of advice... waves plug ins arent exactly the greatest for dubstep production... they make things sound too nice. I use the stock logic plug ins and waves for everything else... but yes read up on your daw... there is always...

You can just draw in an automation node for bypass or enable

http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/5747/picture13p.png image to big to post... to be clear depone... from left to right application folder the rest of the folders are under username mwp and then Library application support folder- clearly has databases, presets etc audio components-nothing NI here.....

go into library/application support/Native instruments also check the same folder under your user folder delete the plug ins you want to delete in the NI folder thats not ware the plugin will be dude, thats just supporting data like manuals and ish. goto Library--->audio--->Plugins--->Components. f...

In logic its important not to turn up the drive on the es2 synth if thats what you used for wobble it kills the bass.. also if you are using a compressor the logic compressor also kills sub bass... it also seems that if you are using the es2 there may be too many modifiers on the pitch so the speake...
