i know this should be in the "wobbles" section, but i couldn't find anything on it. why is it that when i use autofilter the wobbles are never on beat, even though the synth notes are. is that not the best filter? should i be doing something else. please pardon my noobery...

Sorry but I do not follow the 2nd bit you said. With regards to sound you could always save the whole project and then import the file into X and treat it there. I do think it is possible to get a good sound from Reason if you know how to set up things before the hardware interface.

I started on Logic when i was in 6th form, so about 2002, but didn't get into production seriously until i finished uni in 07. Can safely say a lot improved over those years but no where near as much as from 07 til now... I think this forum is partly responsible for that, nice one!

Nah man. Well... you can, but i wouldn't recommend it. most laptop 'stock' soundcards are wank and only used for general headphone use.
