Re: Video Game Samples youve found
I've gotten the samples out of fallout 3. New Vegas and the original both have easy access after you dowload this tool someone made to extract the samples.
There are some sick drones / soundscapes and cool dialogues in those, i tell you!

Re: Ozone's self mastering guide
Nice. Using Ozone or your DAW, I saw some pretty decent tips about eqing etc in there. In understandable language. :) Also some fairly obvious ones; like reference listening on other speakers (and getting someone else to listen to it). But the combination makes this a pretty decent beginners guide f...

Enterprise for me now. But that might be because I'm trying to watch the entire series in 2 weeks :D Love how it's actually a bit darker then the other series, starting season 3... The whole xindi thing was kind of a miss though, can't top Borg / Klingons. Shame they killed the series after season 4...

Vengeance Essential series are by far the best drum kits in my book. Then again, I mainly produce industrial / hardcore acid atm. I just come here for the production tricks

Umm yeah I'll take one of each thing ever made thankyou and a room big enough to fit it all. http://www.synthtopia.com/images/KeyboardMuseum.jpg ? Me... I am just fine with my pc + monitors. Re: Mix Length
I've done the abbleton mix thing. It's actually really easy to pull of and interestingly; when fucking around you will come up with nice edits of tracks you wouldn't normally use because they are hard to mix, or come up with interesting mash ups or vips. No need to make a hassle about it though bro....

Re: Low pass the whole mix when mastering?
There are a couple of frequency's that are perceived as harsh. I actually had a discussion with a sound engineer / producer / friend about this. It was however in the context of a big soundsystem rig. He said it's easy to learn a couple of frequencies by hart that you can just turn down to prevent a...

Yeah, not really in that fase yet. (If it gets released it would be well into next year).
So just wondering if anybody has some form of experience or tips in this direction.

Locked grooves cutting?
I'm playing with the idea to release a 12" with a track on it that should end in a locked groove. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the cutting process of this. My guess is it is limited to one turn on the turntable and so the BPM would actually set the place where the loop goes on th...

You do realize the soundcloud you're spamming is empty right? I like the youtube songs, but the myspace page takes about 3 to 5 minutes to load on my old Pentium 4. I don't have the processor that the designer of it had. Soundcloud doesn't have that problem and I use it a lot to check out artists. O...

i used to follow the rock and metal closely and I hated Sonny Moore and From First To Last back then... I dont however dislike Skrillex, I really like his electro tunes, much prefer them to his dubstep- of which I only like 'Scary Monsters' then the rest of his tunes sound the same... thing that pi...

Re: Who Wants the .Wav and Bass Patches???
Maaaan I made a cranky post a year back :D Mix is still off though. Although tunage is admittedly better. You really should layer the heavy wobble with some other sound, it sounds too hollow. Quieter parts sound more full all over the spectrum, although not much innovation is going on. Quieter parts...
