Can someone expand on this? I know the default EXS has a sine, but what's a good way to have it mesh with your midrange bass instrument?

Re: fuck I hate I tunes

You ever think that maybe it's your system that's fucked up? Why does Itunes work so well for so many others, but it decides to rape your ass? Try another free media player perhaps.

Re: Peru

Most Peruvians I know in the states are stuck up jerks, always banging on about how much better it is than the US, yet we all know what a 3rd world rapefest it is, but we're too polite to mention it... I hope Peruvians in Peru are cooler cuz I'd like to visit some day.

Re: Speeding up workflow in logic?

Use screen sets access your most used windows in logic. Save as a template or autoload. Remember your shortcuts, and don't be afraid to assign your own shortcuts and overwrite shortcuts you're bound to never use. There's a shortcut for just about everything in logic. I have shortcuts set t...

I doubt the moron bought logic, because anyone who dishes out $500 on software would at least bother to seriously read the getting started manual before posting such a stupid question.

Digging the ultrabeat as a sampler for simple drum kits.

But yeah, lately I've been using es2 for all my bases, record, slice in the arrange window, drag to exs.

Also this thread should be merged with the logic Q&A, lots of good logic advise in this thread.

Work less hours at that bar while you search for your dream job in the music business. But don't just quit and live off savings.

Oldie but goodie. Open up a multi output Ultra Beat, load up the Drag & Drop preset from the Drum Kits menu, in Logic open up the media>browser and drag your samples to the little black window. Using ultrabeat like this is a good alternative to esx's lack of individual zone's filters and envelop...

Basically if you want to work in a non-conventional ass hat backward way, regurgitate the company's line all over the internets, then ableton is for you.

Oooo look at me, I use a DAW that looks like a bunch of kid blocks made by phisher price. I'm so different and creative.

Working with audio still looks like shit. I'll pass on an update this time around and maybe check out an educational version of cubase studio around the same price as a logic update. I mean it'll come out cheaper with less headaches I recon since I'd have to update my OSX to 10.5. No time or money f...

Funny enough. I went in to watch another movie "The hangover" after I had seen Bruno...Two fat bald guys were sitting right behind me and as soon as the Burno previews came on I could clearly hear them scoffing at the preview and making loud comments like "you'll never pay me to see t...

Take it into the apple store. They might do a freebie repair for you if it's the first time you've had trouble with it or if it's some "new bug".

Fat waves. Cheers. BTW, did you create the kontakt instruments on a beta version of k3? I tried to load it, but it says they were created on a newer version. I'm on 3.0.2 or whatever.
