can someone confirm serato 2 and 3 use the same software dont they? the hardware is the only difference?

i duno what your surrounding area is like but you could try using natural sound barriers to channel the sound....you know like mountains or at the bottom of a cliff...mind you though bass does go everywhere!

yea definatly go back to xp (assuming that your hardware is compatable)
Vista has a horrible habbit of sucking up half your ram for nothing


P.S - serato software is free on their website, download it and do a couple hours test to see if its stable, I'm sure that'll be the most logical thing to ...

yea you need ilocs and usb dongle thingys for protools and cubase

but cubase has direct note access...

ive seen it loads but ive never had any respect for dj's who use it on its own with no vinyl floating about...

So once again my production and musical computer has got clogged up with all the shit that i really dont need to be on it....ive uninstalled all the unnecessary etc but a reformat is gonna have to happen.

id go with protools or cubase and then download the missing files from your reason 4. then you can rewire and not be as confused for the learning curve of your new daw.

also there is a rediculous amount of video and book tutorials on how to use both of them.especiallly pro tools.
