unstall Albino on a Mac
I tried to delete Albino. Went into the VST folder and threw away Albino folder. Shows up in my sequencer apps still.

There is soundhack for the mac. That is easily the best time stretch tool I've come across. It is not a VST though. soundhack also does a number of other amazing things. Enjoycollige wrote:Also, does anyone know of any good timestreching vsts/AUs? I hate that 09xx crap.

Re: FM8
i recommend looking at any youtube tutorials you can find. there arent many but there are enough to get a good idea of what the hell is going on in the FM matrix. these two have nothing to do with dubstep but theyre def helpful.

Re: Pads - tips and how-to.
Look for a program called Sound Hack. The company is called soundhack and they have a few different processors, but there is one named Soundhack. That is one of the best free programs you can find. For instance, the time stretching you can set the algorithm to examine small fractions at a time to ...

Re: What are some of your favorite sample CDs?
I found a link for the Future Music CD. This is something I have been looking for too. Reminds me of the times of going to undergound raves to see DJ Tron and Ron D Core in Compton, haha. Enjoy.

FM8
I searched on this site for FM8 and nothing came up. Anyone into FM8? After I figured it out it's pretty nice. It's like a nasty version of Absynth.

Re: Is NI Massive worth buying? Opinions please
I would get it. You have to be patient and figure out exactly what is effecting what. It's pretty eazy to get a thick low sound but to modulate it get's more in depth. Go to the Brutal Electro setting and look how it's set up. One Ocillator and no LFO is being used. Start there and figure it out.

Aphex Twin
Man, why doesn't Aphex Twin grace Dubstep with a tune. Curious what his take is on the whole movement. I know he is into (from what he spins) Tech Itch, Current Value, Panacea. Not a shock. i know he likes some Dubstep. If you are reading this make a song for laughs!
