Soundcloud

something rather optimistic for a change :) Needs proper mixdown but as a concept it's finished.

asdr Yep, it's a partial solution, but it doesn't solve the problem itself. I really want to know if it's a problem specific only for fl. if it stops the click, it's not a 'partial' solution, it is the/a solution.... It doesn't stop the click it only makes it quieter (even with quite considerable a...

I hate his midrange, heavily detuned wobbles playing random melodies. Where's the soul? I like Jahowa though.

nope, but they are already compressed, equalized, reverberated, distorted, layered etc. I'd like to do that on my own :)

Best drumkits for creative production

I recently bought NI Synthetic Drum Kit. I'm happy and dissappointed with the samples at the same time . They sound really good and are diversified, but most of them doesn't need any treatment - they sound good as is. I would like to buy/download something allowing more space for creativity. What do...

The proof that fl sucks (?!)

As it was explained in this topic the waveforms, which don't start at zero crossing cause your speakers/headphones to click. The problem I came across in FL Studio is that it doesn't matter which vst you use. Nothing changes after bouncing the wavefrom to WAV and editing it. It doesn't even matter i...

That's what I think. But changing attack can deprive a baseline of energy, and still the 'click' can be noticed.

I'm looking for a solution as I think it can help to clean the low end a bit.

why a sinewave starts with a "click"?

Does anybody knows why while generating a simple sinewave (no matter what frequency) it starts with a 'click', which highlights a considerable amount of spectrum around the base frequency but disappears after a few miliseconds. The situation repeats with every single note. It does not click with por...

Cheers mate. I'll try to give them an audition in the morning.

I don't know. Maybe I just got used to this Rev. It's not the case with compresors and eq's because they do not have a 'sound' on their own.

White noise is just a random signal without any predominant frequency so it cannot have a pitch. You have to use an automation on a high-pass filter to get that rising motion. Remember to start from a high cut-off point, because with those random low frequencies it would sound rather like a broken T...

Don't limit yourself to notching midrange and don't plug it to LFO. Use automatics and shape the sound by yourself!

Yep, it definitely sounds good in reeses.

So 6pin firewire is powered from a computer and 4pin externally? When I decide to buy a firewire audio interface, do I have to make sure that it is 4 pin (so it would fit my laptop) or are they somehow compatibile?
