Go for an audio interface that has 24 bit 96khz recording and nothing less. The firebox is a nice choice. I think £70 isnt enough, you will be better saving up and getting something worth the cash rather than cheap tat IMO

Well, mine shake from side to side a bit surely you can tell if the knobs are damaged or not?

Mine fit snugly n top of the metal prong that sticks out from the mixer.

Both the up-faders and knobs are replaceable.

Pull the upfaders knob off :oops: and check to see what the problem is, are the upfaders working correctly and is the problem with the fader or the knob itself - for your sake hopefully its the knob and they can be bought from most dj superstore style establishments - bloody pricey for what they are ...

Il be honest, the overall feel and build quality/robustness of the mkII's is far superior to the MK5's IMO

I you were not that bothered bout brand new decks you can get some right bargains from ebay, techies in perfect nick like 120-150 ea!

More cash for some other gear like someone said serato ...
