Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@Darj - Nice sounding bit there! I am a little unsure if i like the the vagueness of the hats and the hard panning. Other than that and the odd beat change up in the middle i loved it! @Debaser1 - Loving the big room sound. It is what it is supposed to be.. good work! Thanks for all the feedback on ...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@Lightshapers - Really great! Sorry, but there isn't anything i can hear needs help. Nicely mixed! @Manny - I thought maybe the end of the buildup could use some less typical kick placement... feels like it should be faster? @Sifty - Great feeling song! I know its an ambient style track but i feel i...

Re: The FL Studio Q&A Thread
Saw something about the Love Philter in this thread that might be a step in the right direction, but not totally sure how it works...Never used it, Seems if i was trying to use an envelope to control filter cuttoff it would do the trick with some messing about. Anyhow, Just found the Grooki post you...

Re: Has producing changed the way you listen to music?
I think I definitely listen more intensely and am far more analytical when listening now, but for me it doesn't take away from my ability to still get chills and really enjoy a song while doing so. Some times i just listen and let the music take me in.... like when out at a live show dancing, i let ...

Re: Education & Careers in the Music & Audio Industries
Man Futures! Great thread, really pulled a lot from this one! I am opting not to go to school for audio other than maybe some piano lessons. This is based on a lot of the same reasons in this thread. I am not looking for a job in audio, i want to make my creative visions and a degree or certificate ...

Something I've been working on.. let me know what you guys think so far! :D http://soundcloud.com/oozin/fuck-it Like the song, very commercial sound but it somehow seems boxed in... can't really figure out how.... must be the slow drum beat(that may not even be the beat you chose to go with) or may...

2> Samples alwys play from the start (or end). This means that if your sample is 3 minutes long, and you want to hear the last 20 seconds of it, you have to trigger it and wait for the whole sample to play through. Maybe i am reading this wrong, but i am pretty sure you could use the start-stop dia...

Re: You have questions about studio monitors?
Would it be a good temporary solution to use the sub from my Logitech z2300 along side my Adam A5 monitors? Maybe just y-split the audio output from my card to the logitech and the monitors and remove the 2 speakers from the logitech so it is only producing the low frequencies? Sounds applicable but...
