I sidechain my kicks to my sub so that they don't get in the way of my sub. These kind of threads belong in the Production forum btw

In that case, is it still necessary eq the kicks? Like, i usually cut the kick freq below 70-80hz just so it wont conflict with the sub. But if i apply sidechain ...

@ Macdaddy1129 - pretty cool intro , it gives a nice trancy feeling, at the drop i think the first sound is too distorted, the growl and the reese bass that comes afterwords sound a whole lot better, i personally would mess around with them a bit more

@narrator - oh man quality stuff, really diggin the bass , cool switch up at the middle there, i think a 4/4 drum pattern would have worked there

Well probably a combination of Datsik robotic wobbles, flux pavilion ...

@ Mannyyyyy man this sounds really nice, sick dirty wobbles and those gunshots samples really makes this track crazy, maybe you could just turn up the volume on the hats and maybe add some background melodies or something

Ok so, stuff like Rusko and Doctor P is brostep, and stuff like Substep Infrabass, Shekel is filthstep. Then what does Downlink/Datsik make, cuz that`s still totally different

Filthstep was much more appropriate than brostep
