I hope this OK to post on this forum. I created a Mix that features 101 Dubstep Songs. Artists ranging from mainstream to never heard of before. The mix travels across numerous sub-genres of Dubstep too.

Get the original and the instrumental (gonna have fun finding that) and then invert it.

how would this process work exactly? not familiar..

you need to find an insturmental sample that is the EXACT bitrate and freq of the full song. even then sometimes it doesn't out right. You either have to ...

Well it has less built in synths and effects. But the effects and synths it does have are great. Its got a very user freindly GUI. you can use plug ins which is always a major plus...and loads loads more to it than that. I would urge you to get it

is there a way to use external to reason VST's ...

thanks for the feedback guys. as you noticed I wasn't really worried about the actual sample just the process. In the end for the learner that's all that matters. Within the next day though I'll be adding a follow-up video containing some better sounds and such.

I kind of rushed that one into ...

To My_fickle_eye: I'm not sure but I use Edison from Image-Line: there are a few places across the web where you can download it seperate from FL Studios. Edison has a really nice visual display for audio editing/chopping/cutting or whatever the term is.

Very nice tutorials. I like how incorperated almost every aspect of a dubstep song. I recently finished a tutorial just on how to make the bass sample wobble. I used a combo of Free Filter, Formula Controller and Env Controller but your way is much easier. =p
