Vengeance is actually good as long as you get creative and layer, chop, edit, process to personalize. And yeah I don't get the point, everyone uses samples that they didn't synthesize or record themselves? Who the fuck cares. All the producers that get hung up on synthesizing their own drum kits th...

Re: lo-fi / rugged up processing
i think a nice way to get the lofo/rugged up sound is to use lots of tape saturation and certain other distortions, sometimes a bit of bit crushing. however, the trick is to set them up via sends or at least with a dry/wet knob on the unit. this way you can mix the dry signal in with the rugged up, ...

Re: Any tips on effective collaboration?

Need opinions
Okay so I just lucked out and made out like a bandit. I traded my Galaxy S4 for an iPhone 5 AND a MPK49!!!
Now my question is, should I sell the MPK49 and keep my Novation Remove 25SL and Korg Padkontrol. Or sell those and keep the MPK49? I'm using Logic Pro X btw.

Any tips on effective collaboration?
I never collaborate but my friend finally got reason so he came over and we started in reason then moved over to logic since I can work a lot faster there. He plays drums and guitar so he is valuable as long as he's not controlling the daw. Anyways I noticed it was actually harder for me to come up ...

Re: Does anyone else have similar problems with vocals?
