Re: feel retarded asking this but...
Check a different location. Mine ended up in my shared folder then somewhere weird off of that. i mean saved the patches again and looked at the file path, then followed that exact path in the browser and they dont exist. but the entire path exists just not the files once i reach the destination wh...

the big up button is a like button lol well i think it should have been set up different. like you can "big up" someone for points kind of like a user rating system. but then just have a normal like button if you just like the post. doesnt necessarily mean they deserve the user points. yo...

Re: Site Update Feedback Thread - comments/queries/wishlist
i suggested the "big up" button a while ago
now we need a like button per post so people dont have to post "yeah i agree" or "nice" and we can save the boards for more useful posts.
ALSO, i would like to be able to change the font size. seems abnormally large.

Re: How do you guys prefer to handle your drums in logic?
I have a question for those of you with ni kontakt 4. is there a way to create a kit with a bunch of snares to chose from on one channel a bunch of kicks, hats, etc all in one instance and then have each type of drum hit have its own out? Not sure if you can understand what I'm saying, I know about ...

Re: How do you guys prefer to handle your drums in logic?
I don't like audio because its too much of a pain to change the pitch and I prefer using an envelope rather than like fade ins and outsoutbound wrote:The amount of times I've gone back and forth between battery and just using audio.
I'm in my audio stage atm, gives me more flexibility.

Re: Any opinions on NI Battery before I buy it?
I prefer to use logics esx24 because I use a sampler for each drum hit so I can process each separately and have is own arrange lane without the fuss of using multi outs and busses.
Battery is cool but I just like the simplicity of esx and I prefer to use external compression and what not.

Re: Curious - Who has ended up with reason as their main daw
you guys think its easier to stay organized in reason?? im OCD and thats what i hated about reason. racks get messy even with combinators. i found staying organized in logic much easier, especially now in logic 10 with track stacks and the ability to move mixer channels without the arrange window wo...

Re: How do you guys prefer to handle your drums in logic?
thanks for all of that input guys...
so you guys dont think its overkill using an esx24 for each sample? would doing this in battery be overkill? really the only thing i need to do is adjust pitch and volume envelope which can be done in esx24 so im not sure i need battery, right?

Re: Curious - Who has ended up with reason as their main daw
Yeah pretty much use Reason for everything, actually still on version 5 as well. I do use Logic and Pro Tools quite a bit too, but I work twice as fast in Reason. yeah i hear you man. certain things it is quick for but dont you find it a huge pain in the arse working with the rack and fx chains and...

Curious - Who has ended up with reason as their main daw?
I'm wondering who has ended up with Reason as their main daw but has had a different daw as their main in the past? I'm not talking about just trying another daw, I mean someone that was fluent in another daw but ended up choosing reason in the long run. I'm just curious because I started on Reason,...

How do you guys prefer to handle your drums in logic?
For some reason the way I tackle drums is always changing and I can't seem to find a method that totally suits me. I have Battery 3, but it takes me too long to get everything all set up so each hit has its own channel, unless I just use a whole battery for each hit. How are you guys working with ba...

not bad but i got to admit its not too informative. he just walks you through some of the sounds and explains it like..."umm yeah this is a sound i think i just found and played it like this...or whatever." it seems like he hadnt looked at these tracks in years and is just rediscovering th...

Re: Good setup for all-round use?!
equator d5s are a very good choice. probably the best you can get for the money. just keep in mind a 5" monitor doesnt extend down to the lower frequencies. 50hz is about what you can monitor accurately down to at best. but even 6.5" monitors arent much better. just learn to mix your bass ...
