Re: Different Filtering Techniques
i might try actually layering 3 of the same sounds in kontakt and using envelopes for different cutoffs of lowpasses and phasers to make it seem like so much is happening. What do you guys think?

Re: Different Filtering Techniques
You could try apply 2 filters to the same sound, then setting them up so that the wet volume on one is equal to the dry volume on the other, effectively allowing you to crossfade between the two. Can then automate yourself some filter sweeps between the 2 to get an organic feel. Also, z-plane filte...

Re: Losing quality from resampling?
you shouldnt lose quality when resampling and IMO you should always bounce your sound after every 3 effects you put. Then you would get more sounds in your sample library and you can always go back if you think you messed up on the effects chain.

Re: Automating a third party instrument in Logic without a..
it's not from hyperdraw everything is in the automation tab. but if you don't know a parameter but your automation reading on touch go to massive and start recording movements. that's the only way touch works if it's being recorded. once you find out what you want put it to read and have fun

Re: Automating a third party instrument in Logic without a..
if you can't find the parameter to automate cause logic does make weird names. but your automation setting on touch instead of read and move your rate and it will start doing what you did. remeber the parameter for next time and change the setting to read and have fun I also remeber if you have a sy...

Re: Modulating your sub - tips and techniques
^ only when cutting to vinyl thats extremely important BUT IT HAS TO BE SAID...... Mono subs = more punch in the club (tested by stereo and mono versions of subs on the same tune on a good rig) so would'nt that be good practice to keep in mono and mostly move with glide to give movement, instead of...

Re: Modulating your sub - tips and techniques
Try adding a phaser or chorus to it, or modulate the panning, while pitching it down. Just for one or two notes in the whole bassline. It kind of makes it reesey and it's tight. chad man, that kills the sub, he wants sub, mostly the questions were answered with as much as he can do and h...

Re: Controlling samples (Skrilex Bass)
resampling is an endless thing. yes you can take one shots and make them completely different. you can also once cycle the waveform in the one shot and it would be unique cause of the effects on it. the bassline is also not fat it's pretty thin you need more frequencies overall. to me it doesn't sou...

Re: Best bassline production synth
chewie. man how do you like your virus? is it worth it? Yeah it's a good all rounder and has a more dark and wide sound than the andy and voyager which is perfect for basslines. The andy does do the meanest reece though, 32 analogue oscillators oh dear and the moog just sounds fat as is. Andy sound...
