Re: List Of Members Collaboration // Collabs Thread
What DAW do you use? Ableton Live 9. How long have you been producing for? About 3 year now. What VSTs do you favour? Massive all day everyday. What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound? Datsik, Funtcase, Getter, any of the Firepower Crew generally. I'm a bro guy. Influences...

Re: Highend headphones?
I prefer the KRKs. M50s are heavy, clunky, have awkward low end and are only used as a reference point for me. I feel 100% confident mixing on my KRKs without even referencing on other systems. This comes from someone who will try and talk anyone out of buying KRK monitors too.. They're the best pa...

Got a pair of ... KRK KNS 8400 Audio Technicia M50 Had a pair of... AKG K 271 I have stuck around the 100-150 price range. What are some options up from 200 to anything around 500 what will benefit? These are just for the studio. Unfortunately I don't have a suggest but rather a question. What do y...

Re: How to transition?
In all seriousness, I can actually see what he is struggling with. The transitions are pretty much non-existent. You need to work on structure big time. Analyze your favorite producers tracks and check out the structure, write it down if you have to for fucks sake. Drop it in your DAW and create you...

Damn dude nice work on the percussion for real. Love the whole of that track tbh. Everything is spot on in my opinion. Big up.

Re: Zillion - Mean like this (Dark)
First thing I thought when I heard your track was damn that mix is tight as fuck. I have to agree with the guy above though, not feeling the vocal. I'd be more than happy to take a 320 of this if you have one without the vocal if that's not too much to ask? Nice one man.

Re: First Song (Clip) Resident Evil
Sounds like it's really clipping. Take a look at this thread and learn a bit about mixing, even if you don't go in depth you can check tips on how to keep your master from clipping and what not. I mean you may not even be clipping, if that's the case then you have a LOT of distortion in there. Keep ...

Native Instruments Holiday Gift
Hey all, not quite sure where to put this, but I thought you'd like to know that Native Instruments are giving away a full free plugin compressor called "Supercharger". Don't know if it's any good or what not but it never hurts to bulk your arsenal right? Move this thread if you think it i...

Re: Bass Institute - Haunted House (Dubstep)
Massive is my go to synth tbh. Use it for pretty much everything. Other than that try playing with audio. I find you can get all kind of sounds if you play with a long reverb on say, just some random voice recording.

Re: Bass Institute - Haunted House (Dubstep)
Nice variation through the drop. I found the lead sound a bit too basic. What are you using to synthesize that sound out of curiosity? Your mix could do with a bit of work also as that panned synth sounds really loud compared to the rest. Other than that you have potential with this one. Good job.

Jeeeeze man. You went in on this! As mentioned that sound at the end of every 4 bars is deep. Can't actually think of anything to say other than nice one.
