easiest way if you have a recording program (i have used cracked cool edit pro 2 for like 6 years now - great program) is to go on your computers volume control>options>properties>recording and select stereo mixer instead of mic. will record any sound our computer is producing.

Philly B are you mac or PC?

I use this thing called handbrake which was a free download for my mac, if I find something I want to sample from a movie I'm watching I can pull a chapter of the movie (I use netflix quite a bit), throw it on something easy like garageband and cut the piece of audio I want bounce it and load it into the esx sampler for logic or recycle for reason......., that way you know you're getting quality audio right from the mastered DVD audio file.....and not from a crappy internet file....

Roxio makes something I think that rips and records audio right from whatever your listening to, I think it's 50 or 80 bux.

Hope that helps....
Edited for rhythmic content.
