Intro from a fella from sunny (yet FREEZING) California...

Post by tha megatron » Fri Dec 16, 2005 5:16 pm

wasnt sure if the forum had a new members intro thread so I wanted to post a intro for people out there. I go by Megatron and im based out of San Francisco out here in California, home of the Governator and Apple Computers. Im part of the B.I.G. Crew and we been pushing the Grime and Dubstep sounds as a unit for about a year now but have been playin garage/grime/breaks as djs for some time now.
We're working on getting some big shows lined up for 2006 and we look forward working with a few big artists and DJs willing to roll thru to tha West Side and bless the San Fran massive with some heavy beats.

Shout outs to Distinction for introducing me to the forum and big ups to everyone else on here that I know who might be on the forum. Look forward chatting with all yall bout the dubstep bizness!

Yeah, we can't possibly understand it, just like people in the UK can't possibly "get" hip hop. Thanks for the tip.

Think there might be something wrong with your caps lock key bruvva.

allright, jj...carrots and peas, carrots and peas.
i find the lack of bling in grime and dubstep
very refreshing. i really don't like much u.s. hiphops.
of course i dunno what it's like growing up in the areas
that spawn this music, but the sounds fully resonate up in here,
esp. "southern comfort" by burial.

Big Up to all the San Francisco heads

Big Up to the U.K. heads who once again have introduced us to some of the sickest sounds on the planet.
Although it may have started inthe U.K.,we all know what happened when San Francisco got hold of Drum and Bass... we tore it a new ass!!! Remember Phunkatech Crew, B.A.S.S crew etc. etc.
The same will happen with Dubstep
I see big things on the horizon in The City
