And that comment about Grime MCs aint entirely accurate either. Me and my spars have got plenty of tapes of FOOTSIE riding dubstep riddims from back in the day- as in Ghost trax and all that business.

Yea no doubt, certain man have jumped on it late but that's cool.
Crazy D iz wicked though I agree but my favourite is Vicious V, I personally think he's too deep for certain peoples, they dont get the techniques whereas Crazy is easy to digest.

V.I.C does more than jus hype up the crowd and keep it bubblin, he drops SICK street side lyrics.

He's an MCs MC.

"Keepin it gutter" is an original SLT sayin as well. I know Crazy D is vital but the first MCs I ever got into properly were V.I.C and Dangerous D, this was back in '96. They are the true bona fide vets, as is Footsie

yup dangerous a badman too. tru enuff. crazy d gives a nice accessible link for the older old skool garage heads tho, and sumtimes his melodic delivery is a welcome break. lyrics wise, crazy d not my 1st choice 4 sure, but easy on the ear and complements the tunes wikidly....

Sorry to disagree with you Amen Ra as normally I respect totally what you say but Crazy D has great technique and delivery. Unlike a lot of MCs who can just shout on the beats, Crazy gets between them. Admitedly, some of his lines are a bit daft (although I like that too), but it's still a welcome contrast to glorified violence and put downs. I suppose that he is accessible, but that should be a positive, not a negative. Did you hear the Younsta FWD mix from about a year ago? Crazy D's performance is amazing and never infringes on Youngsta's master set. He can go from daft lines like 'wonky donkey...honky bonky' to his 'that's why they won't give me a slice guy' routine where some MCs get stuck on bragging about bullshit. And the best thing about Crazy D is that he knows the tunes and loves them, that's why he knows when to lay off.
To be honest, the MCs at the last two FWDs really started to get on my nerves.

in my opinion crazy doc's the only 1 who can get away with mc'ing over dub step. he's the dogz bollox . dub step is about the music , not the mc and crazy knows that. delivers spot on. top boy.
