Ok the first tune, has a very straight and solid beat. Dubstep is a shuffley beat with that kinda flows, and the beat in this doesnt quite flow. You also need to EQ everything, check the production forums there should be some stuff in there.

For example, the bass drum should peak at about 80hz and the bass about 50hz.

Get your snares to about 200hz and get some high end on everything.

I didnt hear many hi hats or cabasa's. You definatly need them to add shuffle and flow.

The bass is ok.

Second song, sub is good, maybe a bit too loud though haha. And that whoosh is WAAAY to loud, almost had a brain tumour!

It sounds like your using massive, if so, to get a nice bass sound, de tune the first osc to -24 using sin-square and whack the cutoff to about 5 to 12. Then add some other oscilators on top but not at the same octave. Vary it.

You definatly have the ideas, just need to get the EQ and levels right.

Last thing, you need a drop, which is the main thing in dubstep, a nice creppy intro before some silence then BOOOOOM! Wobbles and beats all beating up clowns as you take on the world with a speaker behind you.

Any more help just ask.

EZ Soldier.
