Hey tronman I think we all know how to do searches. I wouldn't mind some advice from someone that has built one themselves. I'd like to start a project myself. I have all the woodworking tools. Thats no problem. Some hints on a starting point could be handy. Like what woofers to get/stay away from. Etc.

Yes, all about speakerplans.com it's a wicked site. I'm in the process of building an x1 but having an absolute prick of a time trying to get PD18 driver for in this corner of the world...
