White labels with reggae vocals

Post by HGLDT » Wed Feb 11, 2009 4:15 am

I'm looking for crossover reggae dubstep releases in the style of NINJA 999 or WAR 007, can you guys recommend more?
Doesn't have to be a white, but in that general vibe. I'm also really digging the new Rankin (RAN 007).
SKIP002 Out now on 12" only (Swing and Skip Records)
A. Damu "2010"
B. HGLDT - "Knowing You"
BB. HGLDT - "Knowing You (Resketch Remix)

Soundcloud

Also out now: FRSH002 - HGLDT 'Evolution EP' - "Wake Up Call", "These Days" + KingThing Remix

LVs tune CCTV is a nice leftfield dubstep/reggae cross.

The rest of the WAR series will sort you out also.. if you can find 'em ;)

Uh.. Syncro - Jah Love.

I have a white label with another tune that I call "Jah Love", but I dunno who it is by or what it is called.. on the flip is an early Martyn tune call "everything about you" and one other, if anyone can help me with an ID?

White Label - 'Murderation/Trample' - this is the dog's swingers, still available here:

http://www.redeyerecords.co.uk/asp/sear ... hFor=exact

White Label - 'Don't give a dub' - still available here;

http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/se ... ack=UBD001

White label - 'Sensi Dub' if you can find it anywhere now!

Also, listen to sound samples of pretty much anything by RSD - not all with vocal sample, and not white label, but reckon you'll like it anyway.

All that stuff on WAR (although i didnt pay attention to the earlier releases)

WAR007 - Polizia
WAR008D - Rizla Dub

Tes La Rok's got a new one on a new label Soul:Lion (peeps are talkin about it in 2 other threads)

Check out the L-Wiz - Mary Jane on the Dub Police License to Thrill Vol 1, no rasta vocals, but definately carries the vibe.

Radical Guru has some pretty killer releases as well. (especially his bootleg of No Good by the Scientist!)

If you like the harder dancehall style shit, check 6Bloc. He has a new release on chemical records.

Hope that gets you started m8.
