This summer sees the launch of The Soundwave Festival on the shores of the Adriatic on the Croation coast. The brainchild of British promoters Soundcrash and New Bohemia the festival sees some of the biggest names from the leftfield music scene including DJ Yoda, Hexstatic, Alice Russell, The Bays, Bonobo coming together for 3 days of sun, surf and sounds.

The festival site is in the gorgeous surroundings of Petrcane, close to Zadar, a fishing village on a peninsular where the Dalmation Coast meets The Adriatic Sea. Those in the know will recognize it as the same site used by the Garden Festival. With an outside Amphitheatre overlooking the ocean for live acts, a Beach Side Terrace for day & night time dancing and a 600 capacity nightclub for the beats to go on right through the night, it is one of the most unique places in the world to host a party.

At this beautiful site you can swim in the glistening Adriatic, dance on the beach under the stars, join us aboard a swashbuckling Boat Party, get your groove on to a Funktion 1 Soundsystem in a retro Studio 54 styled nightclub or just relax beneath the pines along the forested coastline. Those who spent any time last Summer up to their waists in mud at British festivals will take great joy in knowing that shorts, sun cream and flip flops will be required wear at Soundwave.

The surrounding area is equally beautiful and there is loads to do such as island hopping, exploring the national parks and nearby mountains, enjoying the culinary delights of the local farming and fishing villages, or just relaxing on any of the various golden beaches.
