New label AVE'IT Underground looking for artist submissions

Post by noizy parka » Thu Feb 12, 2009 11:50 am

Please send your links for High Quality MP3 to me here for them to be considered for release (MP3 first with possible vinyl release dependent on the market conditions)

Ave'It Underground will be a proffesionally run Label for all underground music with Dubstep being the main focus for early releases.

Big Up

I'll send you all my tracks, in 24bit/96k wavs. I've loads of bandwidth to spare.

not to be a prick, but you mentioned "professional run label" and just asking for people's tunes, in high quality, without offering any sort of description of your supposed label, let alone links to myspace/site/etc is not what I call professional

All in the process of being re-launched as part of the marketing for the label... and first releases.

you can check www.myspace.com/callingallravers for info on the night that the label runs from.

But there is a marketing plan in place based around the fact that you'll likely get more people listening when you first add them....

Everything will be done strategically and proffesionally to ensure all artists benifit from being a part of the label.

As a note there is a good MP3 Distrobution deal in place that covers an amazing amount of shops. Currently i am working on contracts with my friends who do law and im looking to put together a deal that suits all involved partys.

"not to be a prick, but you mentioned "professional run label" and just asking for people's tunes, in high quality, without offering any sort of description of your supposed label, let alone links to myspace/site/etc is not what I call professional"

then dont send them?

Havent asked for download could send a streaming link, and high quality is surley a pre-requisite when making an informed decision on somthing your going to spend your own hard earned money on....

The request is for an opportunity for people to be a part of things, the label is currently undergoing all design and marketing and as I have previously mentioned the myspace is on hold until the first releases are chosen, then there will be a distrobution drive, and a marketing drive. planned to make interest peak at the right times for the sales of the records...

Seriously people will moan about anything in these forums.

It's not that mate, but everything seem to me very... uhm, unprofessional.

Usually, when a label's looking for tunes to release, I think it's common practice to provide a description of the label, location, previous release (if any), a clue about what kind of tunes they're after.

This whole thing seems to me like what would happen if my mother started a label.

I'm not trying to put him down, or sabotage his business, more rather trying to help by pointing out what he's doing wrong. Maybe I lack tact, maybe I'm not very good with words.

Sounds fishy to me also. The myspace looks like it was done by a child btw.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

gotta love this forum....

The myspace is for an oldskool night that the label stems from.

the distrubution list is from the MP3 distributor who i have known for years...

If it sounds "Fishy" then why bother...

You try and open up an opportunity and people are quick to slaughter you

Anyone who has a genuine interest in providing a link to tunes we can listen to please let me know, we would like to line up a series of releases to build momentum when the first launch goes out. As research suggests thats the best way to market the music. Clearly not here

Thank you once again

do your thing man!

I was only messing about

I'm all about the comedy and thats why I pointed out the comedy central link

you are obviously hooked up with a proper content aggregator if they can get your labels tunes in all of those stores

biggup!
