Lazer Sword (www.myspace.com/lazersword) are a San
Francisco-based DJ/production duo forging a glittering
path in the new worldwide bass jams scene that joins the
dots between London, Glasgow, Montreal, NYC and LA
(check the new issues of XLR8R/BPM/DazedDigital for the
low) and naturally we've bagged the guys for an
EXCLUSIVE London live debut. Clinically obese drums,
zapped-out synths and a crunked-up electro sensibility are
the calling card of this hotly-tipped duo as evidenced on
their ass-kicking Blap To The Future mixtape and a recent
exclusive Lazer Sword mix on Mary-Anne Hobbs' Radio 1
show. Tossing inuences from dubstep, electro, disco and
hip hop into the melting pot, it's a resultant lazer bass
assault.
