cigarettes offa Interweb?

Post by oneliam » Fri Feb 13, 2009 1:33 pm

Thinking about ordering some cigerettes/baccy off teh internet. Just wondered if anyone's ever done it? What's the import tax biz? Is it legal? Any reliable websites??

Cheers

Might not be worth it if customs decide to check your package.

In America, a cigarette is a derogatory term for a homosexual man.
This is in fact hilarious.

Does anyone else use the term 'Tabs' to describe cigarettes outside of the northeast?

I heard about an American Bass Player in the band the Wildhearts who are from Newcastle. He said on his first practise he thought the band were the most mental rock n roll band in the world because inbetween every song they would go for 'tabs' and he assumed they were taking frequent breaks for acid.

Thats jokes, we had a bloke from Newcastle sling about with us for a summer one time..narf had some right funny sayings, can't remember any but some had us in stitches! Plus the accent too, just makes it more amazing.

I have a mate who lives in Spain, she sends me care packages of proper Spanish food, baccy and the odd box of cigarettes. Never been caught yet (touch wood), the parcel is always marked as a gift :)

I don't think ordering a cigarette off the internet is legal here.

My favourite phrase for scrounging tabs is 'here, gis beef off that'

yi cannot lose that way cos neeone wants to smoke the beef anyway, they normally throw it away before completion

I was buying smokes from an Indian Reservation before I quit...They were $1.50 a pack, and ALMOST as good as Camels...WAY better than any of the shitty brands you can buy in stores, though.....15 bux a carton!!!
