looking for some feedback on an original

Post by fairweather » Sun Feb 15, 2009 12:56 am

Alright guys,
Any advice on how to improve this would be appreciated. Just been messing around with pro tools, reason and a feedback loop with guitar pedals.

Let me know what you think.

you've got potential just a bit ways to go

i'd say for starters, the main problem is it sounds too "stocky" if you know what I mean

FX can be your best friend, throw some reverb here and there, eq some shit, make the sounds blend together as opposed to sounding as if they're being forced together

there are parts of the track I could see turning into something good, they just need some work in terms of sounding better, but the patterns laid out and what not are good

However, the pressing plant on their first release misspelt Mystikal Digitz

yeh i think you're right, the drum samples are just straight. I'll get to work with some effects and see what I can do.
Thanks for the help.

Any other takers?
