Production Videos

Post by koche » Sun Feb 15, 2009 1:40 pm

I looked around for links to these videos on this forum and couldnt find them so thought id chuck the links here:

RUSKO PRODUCER MASTERCLASS (Rusko takes you through his (& clipz's) tune 'rats in the kitchen)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4rDC1kuHtc

BENGA PRODUCTION VIDEO (Benga Taking you through the construction of 'Pleasure)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b69DS_id-Y

I have watched a number of these production videos and theyre pretty inspiring and quite funny esp rusko's. Nice to see how what and where these guys make dubstep, thought those new to production might find this a bit easier that trawling through heaps of text of tips and tricks..

Enjoy! oh also if anyone else has links to decent production videos it would be cool to stick them in this thread maybe? I know danny byrd's clip is pretty good too even though its d&b and there is some links on the right hand side of the rusko one to Brookes bros and breakfastaz, they all have some nice little tips in them

Them two are more informative.. Rusko and Benga just go "yeah, this is that, that is this" no detail at all.. The Young Punx master class is probably one of the best http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BttX6MsZFqg

Hehehe the beauty of dubstep is that you can learn about all other genres and get inspired. In the true sense, dubstep isn't a genre its just a sandbox for producers who wanna do something what isn't something else.. Can't really teach something what has no rules

Future Music magazine have a video tutorial on every month with a fairly big producer, and I often pick up bits and bobs from them.

The El-B one was pretty cool too that someone posted a while back, although he says "buttering up" about 3,000 times in it.

All on a sick tune too!
