Circle's strong points are its overall simplicity & modulation routings. The modulation works in a similar way as Massive, whereby you can drag 'n' drop lof's/adsr's onto the target.Ketamine wrote:"Circle" reviews look good--anyone got personal experience? Is it as professional as Massive / Albino? Would you recommend it?
The great thing about the wavetable oscillators is that you can import your own
The fx are functional, and the vowel filter is the highlight of these.
Circle also has a good keytracking editor too. This allows you to specify the range of keys that trigger/modulate whatever you tie to it.

I still prefer Massive & Surge because both have more on offer. Massives filters & effects kill Circle, and is generally more flexible in audio routing and waveshaping.
Surge has far better oscillator controls & even more oscillator types. The modulation system isn't quite as simple as dragging & dropping, but it's still really easy to use compared to the mod matrixes of Albino/Zeta+/Blue et al....
Surge ftw imo
