Hudson Mohawke - Polyfolk Dance EP

Post by pidge » Wed Feb 04, 2009 12:39 pm

This has been on repeat all week. Overnight blows me away every time I hear it, so good. Interested to hear what people think of Yonard, I havn't really made up my mind, I like the last half cause you can actually move to it. The rest is all good, feeling Polkadot Blues a lot too.
So what you think?

Heard alot about this Glasgow lad. I haven't heard the whole EP yet but from I have heard he has a sort of Flying Lotus/Prefuse 73 feel about his music. Good stuff and I'm sure he'll just get better with each release.

Could well be, I know Polkadot Blues is on Heralds Of Change - Sittin On The Side but called Roc wit You Instrumental. Will check out Heeters though :4:

Really and truly I never get tired of hearing Polkadot Blues or Overnight and I must say tis nice to finally listen to Polkadot Blues without the 'Hudson Mo' appearing rather loudly somewhere over the track. Been waiting for Velvet Peel to drop for what seems like years now and thank fuck tis nice to hear in high quality. I'm still making my mind up on Yonard also, Speedstick tis awesomez.

Unbelievable release. Is it just me or is hud mo actually a lot better than rustie, who always seems to get all the press out of the scottish scene?

didn't know there was a competition going on? both are pushing it. i like coffee and tea myself

supa banger ep though

yep the versions of 2 tracks were on hudson heeterz (and one on the HOC ep) but these have been tweaked, remixed and remastered. HH only exists as a 128k pirate anyway, unless you're lucky.
