Ha not really but I did do a shit ton of research for this very thing. Most important thing is find something that is USB 2. All of the USB 1 devices are garbage. I picked up the NI Audio Kontrol 1. Nice little package imo. I am using AKG k702 and AKG k240 (600ohms) headphones through this thing and they are both sufficiently driven from the headphone section. I huge improvement over what I was using even. I am getting a lot fuller sound then through my Vestax mixer. It is also Macc approved, he uses it for his live shows. The biggest drawback is there is only 2 inputs. One can be configured for either line or instrument and one mic or line. 4 outputs though. If you don't need ALL of the bells and whistles this is a good buy imo.

I just got the Novation nio today.

It's USB 1, but every review I read has been positive. May want to do your own research as well though.

anyone got experience with this 90 quid piece of equipment from numark?

also, can anyone spot any potential bumps from this one? ie, could it sound like crap? i'm well tempted to get this thing, just for cueing up tracks with ableton.
