"Pitch Shifting" sections in logic with albino??

Post by sigmund floyd » Sat Feb 21, 2009 8:55 pm

anyway to use one note in the piano roll editor and split it in the arrange window, then shifting the pitch of each section. I use to do this in acid to write wobble bass lines but i haven't found anyway to do it in logic....i've tried au pitch automation, and many other thing but nothing has come close

thanks, i was hoping for something that would be more precise than +12,+24, etc. anyone know if theres anyway to apply/turn on a legato function to albino?? that would solve a lot of problems for me and many others i would imagine

Why don't you just copy the midi loop and transpose selected? It isn't that hard.

So you just draw a part in the piano roll and then just add that one bit to the arrange windows, copy and paste then just transpose? If you want different LFO seeds would you create seperate tracks or what?
