Radioactiveman - Uranium [Narcossist refix] [free 320]

Post by narcossist » Fri Sep 22, 2006 12:57 pm

Inspired by Threnody's Autechtre job a while back and because i have no musical ideas of my own.

Its a first mix and not really standard dubstep but have a listen on myspace and let me know what you think. cheers.

heh heh.. bit of a classic to remix.

thing that always bothered me about the original was his puny beat. yours is better, i miss the original bass though. admittedly you havent changed the bass *that much* but enough for my 'heard the original too many times brain' to go wtf ?

still, props for giving it a go.

cheers for listenin..

yeah totally know what yr sayin...couldn't/haven't worked out a decent replicant bass part yet, will have another look.

wanted to use the original as a mix closer but the 808 snares clashed horribly when mixing it with dubstep and just sounded weak so thought it would worth re doin, not normally a fan of remixing classics but for practicalitys sake thought i'd give it a go.

Quite likin that one, but I don't know the original to compare it to. Some heavy bass there, made my room vibrate.
Hmm....

sounds big joe, but i'm not that familiar with the original. the clip i found on the web had more of a clunky mpc beat behind it, and a lot less atmospherics, job done...imo

yeah i've not heard the original but this tune sounds wicked. I like the bass sound and the general vibe is pretty deep.

Very nicely done here. The original is sick, as is pretty much everything by Mr. Tenniswood, and you've done it an honor with this bit.

Now, what's this I hear about TLS and dubstep???
