Anyway if I want to make broad generalisations (I know a few women studying music so this doesn't apply to them) the more women there are at a gig the worse the music is. That's usually the most accurate way to determine if the music is actually shit.

Depends on the kind of women you're talking about.

Who goes to the club to look at women anyway? Soundsystem culture = dark room, huge stacks, massive dubplates, drop, mix, drop, mix... very few DJ's are playing anything emotive at all. I guess the honeymoon is over. That doesn't mean the the marriage isn't still good every now and then though. You just have to look for the positives.

If you don't like the night and what is being played, I suggest you throw your own dance.

LOL

no offence, but this is one of the more pointless threads ive wasted 5 minutes reading.

whats GOOD and BAD is subjective (and not the same as popular or chin-stroker)

does this really need to be pointed out to people all the time?

I know right... a party isn't totally fail unless Hera is there. :P

When it comes down to it, if there is a female at a party that I am attending, I am more inclined to feel like maybe we share taste in music, more than think my own taste is suspect or something.
