I like the beginning of this topic. It went downhill fast however.

Wondering what sampler he used to sample the voice? I'm guessing he looped a small section of the laugh and tuned it down?

Thanks for any help
:o

Several points.

1> He probably didn't use a sampler, but an audio recording program like Audition, Soundforge, Wavelab or Audacity.

2> Hardware samplers used to actually record audio & as well as let you play samples back. Most software samplers only allow you to play back samples, not actually record new audio. (Although Imageline Directwave does have this function)

3> Any audio recording program or hardware sampler will do the job just fine for the recording..... Any sampler or audio program with sample playback function will do to play back your samples.

4> Ask him. Track down his myspace, send him a kind message and wait for a reply!

Coki contacted Tom Kenny, who portrays the character Spongebob in the show Spongebob Squarepants and had him record, for free, over 1,000 different laughs and send them to him. Coki then chose the best one and used it in his tune, which he then sent back to Tom because they are friends.
