thanks man!

we've got some big tunes coming up on the release schedule too. the Haiku remixes and Dark Horse dubs are both coming on vinyl.

Haiku remixes is already available in mp3/FLAC/WAV.

and Milanese and Ekaros are being lined up for future releases too.

Really nice mix(es).
But why do you call them haiku dubs ?
Is there anything you connected with the haikus and I didn't notice it ?
(Im just curious :) )

nah man that's a good question!

Stormfield has done a track called Haiku. we've ended up calling the remixes "Haiku dubs" because they're... well, dubs!

the way Stormfield put it to me once was that whereas most dance music tries to say many things at once, dubstep is more graceful, measured and sparing with it's musical vocabulary. thus comparing most dance music to dubstep is like comparing an ordinary sentence to a Haiku poem.

i guess that sounds incredibly pretentious but there you go!

nice one, glad you guys dig the tunes

re: haiku dub mix
as damo said, there's dub influences in there, and half-step arrangements, and bits of old photek japanese influences hence the name. I try not to gget too theoretical about it. the description semed to fit at the time, so there ya go :D

Carnivore Milanese VIP got mastered and cut yesterday... quite excited!

nice one... there will be some fresh archives next week :-)

>Fully - thanks for the bigups.. but I haven't produced much stuff yet. A few tracks, only one of which isn't an embarrassment! (haiku). Mainly I'm much happier making strange noises, drones and sick ambient loops... Scorn is a big influence.

The production wizards on our crew are Blackmass Plastics, ScanOne, Cursor Miner, Ardisson, wee djs, ekaros, milanese etc :-) Loads of stuff by them coming out soon.
