and hardhouse and dubplate are on the lineup - just not on the flyer.

I'm afriad I'm gonna have to wear shoes, I been polishing my new brown ones since the topic came up.

After all the comments before, I'm gonna do my own dress code policy at the top of the steps to the entrance.

Yeha i had a wicked time. It was really lacking effervescence until Perempay dropped Something in the Air with an Mc on mic. Then things got moving. Well, the ladies got moving. Most of the man dem were just keeping it overly sho.

Sound could have been better and occasionally the layering of the track's percussion, bongo man's bongoing and mc relentlessness got a bit much - quite disorientating really.

Cooly played a wicked set especially but didn't play enough of her own stuff really. Although hearing the ones she did play on a system was great.

My only real complaint, however, is that they let some quite scruffy looking people in who were clearly up for challenging any existing definition of 'smart trainers' :D

Definately some people not repping the smart trainers rule. I have even less idea of what constitutes smart trainers now.

The sound system did seem a bit dodgy at times and it was a bit quiet at the begining both in terms of crowd and system. I did have some fun as the music started to improve after a slow start. They played some bad tunes, a mixture of standard funky ones and a couple i aint heard before.

I didn't get to see all the djs I wanted as I got hijacked by some nutty welsh chick. Was all good though.

This night was good fun. Good crowd, good music. As I had heard the other DJ's mix before and was looking forward to some of them, I was surprised when Cooly G pulled out the best set of the night (for me).
