Underage festival...

Post by Dead Rats » Wed Mar 04, 2009 4:24 pm

Plastician, Caspa, Rusko and the Tomb Crew on the line-up.

Fucking hell. Sure the 14-crowd'll enjoy a little bit of Dubstep.

would be intrested if i lived closer, even though i'm not to keen on any of the dj's.

no one will agree with me probaly but its good to see dubstep at underage nights, frustrating when you can't listen to the music you like live

So for the record...is all ages bad?

I'm not entirely sure what you guys think, but I know how frustrating it is when you want to hear some dubstep live and you're 15...

QFT. but i do not think 15 year olds should be aloud in clubs. except maybe specialist ones.. because havin every 14 year old down at the local funky, bassline etc. night would ruin it :P

Its bad enough having adults in clubs let alone teens. Shit teens wanna grow up too quick. Fuck enjoy your teen years 'cause adult years last a fuck side longer!!

Nottingham's clubs are full of teens (15/16).. not gonna be a hypocrite coz i've only been 18 for bout half a year, but been on the dub raves since I was 15.
But the teenyboppers don't half piss me off. Only coz they've just discovered Ecstacy and Ketamine and end up rolling around the floor vomiting on each other, and the majority don't actually go out for the music.. they just wanna get "messaay"

I'm old enough to get in clubs pubs, but being a teen was a twat. You go round a mates house/local park to get pissed, after a few weeks that gets boring, so you decide to go to a club, one of you gets in but all your mates dont, so you end up having to leave with your mates, so you decide to go to the pub instead, 3 of you get served after your fake ID is scrutinised by some scummy barman with a combover but the others (despite not being near the bar) are still asked for ID. You leave the pub, stuff a few cans of K cider down your trousers and go to some shitty indie rock gig and drink a few pints of pissy watered down carling before your lovely fresh score become nothing but pennies, miss the last train home and cant afford a cab. Cant blame kids for beating up grannies and being into shit music eh?

yes, i have bare friends that boast about going to see darren styles at some shitty club called tabu or liquid. They go to get drunk and nothing else. I want to go to listen to some decent fucking music! none of your happy hardcore cack.

not being old enough to go to clubs is so bad

Yeah mate, its the worst thing when your two young to get into sick clubs and events. I am 16 but the majority of my friends are 18 and its well annoying when your sitting at home knowing all your friends are broking out at dmz, haha.

They need to invent a machine that judges you on your love for the music, instead of all this age bullshit.

that sounds like what me and some of my mates did every friday for years, there was this nuts thing that used to happen at a place called the ivy house in nunhead, some fairly mediocre local bands would come to play and all the younguns would go fucking crazy for it, the pub would fill up very fast, and then they'd lock the doors, so people would jump over the wall to get into the back garden once, i remember being in the back garden and having some guy jump over the wall, land on the roof of the shed and go straight through it into the compost heap that was inside the shed

good times, never beat up any grannies though...

You missed out. We also smoked skunk cannabis (I heard its more dangerous than the stuff people used to not inhale in university) and drank cheap booze and stared people down whilst wearing hooded jumpers.

Which means that over 18s club nights are the sole reason for Times writers employment.
