MOBTHROW, one of the founding members of the rising Spectraliquid label, releases his highly expected debut work under the title “Mutant Dubstep vol.3”, sequel to last year's vols 1 and 2 by Ebola and Cardopusher respectively.
Known for his explosive live performances in a respectful number of underground, breathtaking shows, Mobthrow has managed to create a unique blend of industrial harshness along with deep sounds and noise textures. Straight from the underground, wisely turning dubstep into breakstep, Mobthrow bridles upbeat breaks and twisted bass frequencies, in a unique combination of raw power and dark atmospheres. Even though tags are useless when such ceaseless beauty flows throughout this ultra-heavy explosion, new-jazz, techno, ambient, idm, amen breaks and tons of bass are only some of the directions, in which Mobthrow unfolds his stunning technique.
Five tracks of uncompromising, arousing and flawlessly produced music, among which an amazing remix of Future Sound London’s “My Kingdom” together with an exceptional remix by MAD EP, Mobthrow’s brand new EP is here to take dubstep into a whole new level. Are you brave enough?
This is the 3rd and final chapter of Spectraliquid’s “MUTANT DUBSTEP” series.

Cd is GREAT. Only 5 tracks, but definately worth the purchase.

And thanks Spectraliquid for the include of such a nice extra cd to my order although my order was after the 20th March.
Nice nice nice!

Was thinking to organise some label nights in Hasselt, Belgium for the locals to explore some good, deep and underground electronic music, cause that's necessery overhere. And Spectraliquid should be the first one if they are interested.
This because Spectraliquid, Naked Lunch and Ranking Records turned out to three of my favourite labels! Thanks go out to Rob Booth and his Electronic Explorations for this!

Big thanks to everyone for the great feedback. This is more than welcome since that's what keeps us going. Tomre, thanks a lot for the offer. A labelnight in Belgium would be awesome, so feel free to send us an e-mail with your thoughts:)

On the label-related issues now, Mobthrow's EP is also available as an official mp3 release since 17/4/09. And if you're too bored to search all the possible places to get it on mp3, check out this link, from which you can select your favourite shopping source:

And here's the link to all Spectraliquid mp3 releases:

All the best,
Spectraliquid Crew.

P.S.: errorheard, thumbs up for the pic!
