Azair wrote:I think some danish artists has created a very unique style within ambient, minimal electronica. It has a special vibe which can be recognized through listening to Lulu Rouge, Trentemøller, Tillegreen, Mike Sheridan, Mikael Simpsons etc.

A lot of my friends are very fashion minded and they call some of this music "dubby" and "dubstep". Actually I think that only a couple of them has heard about Benga, Mala, Skream, Burial, etc. So I think this kind of music will evolve a bit into some danceable music that still has a very Scandinavian flavor to it.
Trentemoller is a fucking genius :!:

"Psychedelectric"

you mean...

"hippy-tronic" ???

Close, and it even rhymes, but its more "trippy" than "hippy".

But then again, the Grateful Dub doesn't sound like a bad idea......:)

I believe the dubstep and drum & bass are at the pinnacle of music creativity. From this point on music will just regress to its privitive forms. I predict in the next five years we will all be listening to animal hide drums and jumping around fires with our weiners hanging out.

What's Drum & Drum and what is a good artist to Myspace, or what is a good intro mix? - Thanks.

it's an exciting an upcoming new style which adapts the pounding drumatic rhythmicals of drum and bass and combines them with more drums in order to bolster the rhythmical factor accross the drumatrix inherent in dance music. It's produced through an intense production technique called drumulation, where the sound is achieved by putting all the samples you have ever owned on top of each other. I think the most prolific artist is DJ Gullible?
yeah i saw him down at drum & drum arena the other week absolutely rinsing it.
