Cheers for the screenshot Widdler. Very interesting (can't understand some of it mind. Is that "multibass" thing just a combinator with a logo?) . It makes me chuckle that you have a mac and still use reason though, I thought that was pretty much blasphemy. you should blatantly be sponsored by reason for your dedication. Any chance of some youtube type tutorials????
there are definitely many dark secrets to be unlocked on the old reason poo.

The Widdler is a very good example of a Reasontist. His Toons are fucking beautiful, but sound like coming right out of an ass.
Reason is an Artists instrument and needs to be treated as such. It is NOT a professional DAW. It sounds muddy and degenerated. But it has it's own sound. And if you like that sound, you can do beautiful things with reason.
If you can do beautiful things, you will be happy with Reason forever.
If you want to be a professional, go somewhere else.
hossn

How come you have so many Reverb units loaded? where are you drums and other sounds being played from?xTheWiddler wrote:screenshot of sensi samurai (note: not all my tunes are this intensly sequenced) just to show that reason is in fact a powerhouse when used to its fullest

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Widdler is an amazing producer! Was listening to Widdlers tunes on Myspizzle over the weekend with a pal, and he was astounded by this mans level of production.... Each tune is completely different to the last, yet they all kill it!author wrote:Cheers for the screenshot Widdler. Very interesting (can't understand some of it mind. That multibass combi can be found on the top page of the 'big thread of patches & samples' on this forum.... Nice one Widdler!

Ps. 'Same Way' is a killer tune

if you can't understand "it's not what you use, but how you use it"; you're (a) pretty damn immature, and (b) extremely ignorant.
Lol I'm not even a part of this thread!! Just thought I'd put my two pennies in and chat some shite.

i use lots of reverbs for the atmosphere, each one has a purpose and is not overused, as for drums i load them into a combi with a redrum hooked up to a mixer, each drum channel is sent to its own mixer channel so i can work with them seperatelySerox wrote:How come you have so many Reverb units loaded? where are you drums and other sounds being played from?xTheWiddler wrote:screenshot of sensi samurai (note: not all my tunes are this intensly sequenced) just to show that reason is in fact a powerhouse when used to its fullest
