Yeah true. I use it for mixing out of renoise. the sound quality is fantastic. I erm....'acquired' my copy from a friend I have known around these parts as 'Santa'

Ableton Live

Pro-Tools (at work- i fukin hate PT)

I also highly recommend Audio-Mulch ( www.audiomulch.com )but only to those with an experimental vein. It can teach you loads about how audio works in general.

I use Live for most things now. Sometimes render channels to mix in sonar, as the routing options are better.

Did work with cubase rewired to reason for a couple of my tracks
but found i work better just in reason.
Plus my computer doesn't crash now i have stopped using cubase in vista.

Adobe Audition eh? I use an MPC and Ableton Live (and the amazing FAW Circle synth) for my stuff, but I've had a bit of an itch with Live as far as mixdowns etc, been looking for a super minimal sequencer to arrange and apply compression, eq plugins etc. in.
