Yeah true. I use it for mixing out of renoise. the sound quality is fantastic. I erm....'acquired' my copy from a friend I have known around these parts as 'Santa'blaze wrote:Ive used sawstudio, its mad.Akira Kiteshi wrote:Renoise, Sonar 8, SawStudio, Reaktor, MAX/MSP.........and a bunch of hardware.....
I dont no if its worth a grand tho

Cubase SX3
Ableton Live
Pro-Tools (at work- i fukin hate PT)
I also highly recommend Audio-Mulch ( www.audiomulch.com )but only to those with an experimental vein. It can teach you loads about how audio works in general.

The only way to make a musical moment last forever is to pass it through a delay with the feedback control set to maximum and let it play on and on to infinity. This is also the best way to burn your speakers and the moment won't stay musical for long ...

I use Live for most things now. Sometimes render channels to mix in sonar, as the routing options are better.

Adobe Audition eh? I use an MPC and Ableton Live (and the amazing FAW Circle synth) for my stuff, but I've had a bit of an itch with Live as far as mixdowns etc, been looking for a super minimal sequencer to arrange and apply compression, eq plugins etc. in. Is audition any good? Acid looks alright. Audition has a pretty cosmic spectral analyser, and you know music is all about the looks!black lotus wrote:to clarify:
I sequence VST/samples in FLS8, multi-track editing in Adobe Audition, sound design in Reaktor and SoundForge.
