I like the song itself, think the production needs a little work to give each element its own space, search the forum for eq'uing snares and kick drums

Haha, this is gunna sound really, really lazy of me..

But..I have built a patch on the multiband Compressor for reaktor (fretblaster 2) what I 'always' have on my master (unless its being released then I take it off and let the ME do his work) what pushes up the lows but not to much..

Then... I made 3xosc's on FL.. made it a pure sub turned off 2nd and 3rd osc , low cut it at 56 and for the proper monsterious sub part, its just the low sub and another played octave higher(cloned the original 3xosc), low cut at 97.. Low sub peaks at around -12 and higher sub peaks at around - 18

HiHats seem a little regimented for jump up, they need more groove. The production sounds fine, good track

Not dubstep, but 5 new beats up there anyways. definately more "feel-good" type songs than usual for me.

but as a disclaimer, these arent big works of art, just simple beats i can kinda get lost in. enjoy :)

(and yes i already posted this in the dubs section, big deal, everyone wants more exposure right?)

errr the point of the thread is that people post in teh dubs section and don't get any feedback? so why would anybody have a problem?

I like this music, pretty deep, what do you use for the piano?

Spire:

Passing You By: You've got that very roots-type dubstep sound going on in it floats along nicely, 5am sun just coming up after a big night out type of vibes, fantastic track, 320 avail? If so send that my way :D.

Gratification: such a jam, get off beat sound and the drums are grooving the rhodes sounds greats I think I could listen to a loop of this for at least 30 minutes it has that "get lost in the beat" factor for sure.

At Ease: Really like the drum work in this one, you have a distinctive sound going on in these beats, i'd buy a album full of tracks on this style for sure.

I need food so i'll stop listening for now but I'd happily take some 320s off your hand or even 128s, great beats.

thanks Legendary, glad you like em. you can surely have a 320 or two..........just as soon as i finish the tracks, haha. if i ever did put out an album, i think itd be just full of 30 2 min songs. i always seem to feel finished after that, only on rare occasions do my tracks make it to the 4 min mark.

but yeah, as soon as i can expand on em a little ill definately toss some your way. just send me an empty PM or something, itll help me remember.

Cheers for all the feedback on my tune 'faint' guys

have noted your advice and am working on it...will make 320's available when im done

Mondays Child:- Snowblind is really nice, a little bit chaotic for me, but i can appreicate the work you put into it...mix sounds nice and bass stabs are lush!!..keep it up mate!!

Edi X- Passing is sick man..the moving synth is nice and the progression throughout he track works really well..maybe the sub could be brought through a bit

MiscreanT - Samples in Just a tester are cool and the 'rustic' drum break works well..i think u could fatten the bass up a bit..sounds a bitseperate from the tune but other then that i really like it..

on another note- its really pleasing to see so many people making original music and pushing the boundries of dubstep...so much good music in this thread!!

PESS - Really like your tunes, needs a lot of work in terms of eqing and mixing but the actual ideas are spot on, quality hip hop vibes there and not too boring like a lot of hip hop instrumental stuff. well in!

Spire - all your tunes are sick, liked late night drive a lot its so chilled, one thing i would say is the tone of the sub could maybe be changed but thats just me being anal, i'd maybe have chosen a sub that you literally couldnt hear but just feel.

paravrais
- listened to the first track you mentioned. really good track, nice changeups on the bass and the noises that follow it but i would say that the bass could maybe be a bit more enhanced on the drop so as to emphasise the fact that the tune has actually dropped. Maybe layer another kick in there as well as the kick sounds a little hollow but all in all a good tune i liked it! Tried to listen to your other track but it kept cutting out 2 seconds into it not sure what was up??

Some Burial type influences on this new tune I've just finished. It's called 'Frozen Without You'.

I hope you enjoy it.
