i got a cd that was thrown into the crowd when he was in LA, alas it was only his fabric promo mix which i had listened to many times before. still a cool little souvenir though.

AND THAT AINT COS ITS CASPA
i've always liked caspa tunes
but when he uses the same drum sounds, bass sounds, and general groove, over and over again, meh

dont hate me
i agree.

i like caspa's older stuff. his recent stuff has been orite, a few bangers...

but this tune is quite poor in comparison. its nt even the use of the same sounds i just think its not very organised. sounds a bit rhythmically challenged.

sounds like he thought a few sounds sounded cool, but wanted to put them ALL in there.

You know what...if someone lesser known from the forum posted that tune as their own freebie then it would get no hate at all. In fact it'd get loads of love and big ups and rightly so.

...but the fact that its by Caspa, suddenly everyone feels the need to be a critic and give him grief.

Same drums yawn, don't like the sample yawn...

Give him a break for fucks sake. He's making good music aimed at the dancefloor and he's giving it away for free. What's not to like?

aren't you sort of saying we should just lap it up because it's free and it's harsh to say what we actually think?

the tune is pretty mediocre, it has all the same bass and drum sounds as his other tunes, this isn't something we should be celebrating, it's shit and should be discouraged.. even it is is free. you wouldn't appreciate a free piece of shit from caspa through your letter box would you?

No I'm not actually.

The fact that its free is really neither here nor there.

The point I was really trying to make was that the minute anything new crops up by way of Caspa people feel the need to criticise it. Think of it this way; If that VERY SAME tune got posted by lets say someone like Monsta or Stenchman (2 forum favourites, who make some similar jump up dubstep) then the heads would lap it up without question.
