Free Caspa Tune [legal]
Exactly this. Couldn't have put it better myself.Jibba wrote:No I'm not actually.Abs wrote:aren't you sort of saying we should just lap it up because it's free and it's harsh to say what we actually think?Jibba wrote:You know what...if someone lesser known from the forum posted that tune as their own freebie then it would get no hate at all. In fact it'd get loads of love and big ups and rightly so.
...but the fact that its by Caspa, suddenly everyone feels the need to be a critic and give him grief.
Same drums yawn, don't like the sample yawn...
Give him a break for fucks sake. He's making good music aimed at the dancefloor and he's giving it away for free. What's not to like?
the tune is pretty mediocre, it has all the same bass and drum sounds as his other tunes, this isn't something we should be celebrating, it's shit and should be discouraged.. even it is is free. you wouldn't appreciate a free piece of shit from caspa through your letter box would you?
The fact that its free is really neither here nor there.
The point I was really trying to make was that the minute anything new crops up by way of Caspa people feel the need to criticise it. Think of it this way; If that VERY SAME tune got posted by lets say someone like Monsta or Stenchman (2 forum favourites, who make some similar jump up dubstep) then the heads would lap it up without question.
Abs, we kind of get that u dont like Caspa/Rusko etc. from your comments in other threads so why don't you just get over it and stop leaving the same 'their shit' comments in every thread that involves them!
you hate everything so I take nothing you say to heart.Abs wrote:they would probably, but it doesn't change my opinion on this caspa tune, and it doesn't change the fact that its extremely bland and uses the same samples and bass sounds as all his other tracks, a top producer like caspa could at least maybe use a different saple pack or a new vst
i've made a concious effort to not bother voicing my opinion when it comes to what i don't like latley, and i haven't just said 'theyre shit' in this one, it's just a question of why you'd recycle your samples n that over and over again.>>mUnXi<< wrote:Abs, we kind of get that u dont like Caspa/Rusko etc. from your comments in other threads so why don't you just get over it and stop leaving the same 'their shit' comments in every thread that involves them!

its nt even about jumping on the "criticise caspa and rusko unneccesarily" bandwagon, like i said im nt even talkin about the use of same sounds...
i just find it rhythmically poor. thats all.

i appreciate him giving a tune away,
but it really sounds like he cooked it up in about a hour especially for nme and doesnt give a fuck about it really (which is prob the case), sounds unfinished and just generally a bit weak. but it's cool of him to give some of his work out to everyone for free.
