Portsmouth based Mark Owens is causing a stir, attracting the interest of some of the most influential labels around including Urban Graffiti and NetLab.
His sound is fresh, sonically explosive atomic drop Dubstep, incorporating influences from the IDM and Breakcore scenes. His first 12” release, ‘Serious Music,’ released on Blood Tribe Records last year became one of the anthems of 2008, raising his profile and the expectations surrounding him.
His high-energy live shows have become a must see after announcing himself with a storming set at Glade Festival 2008. Later this year he will support The Bug in Moscow, one of several high profile events to promote his forthcoming releases on a slew of different record labels, including a single for Blood Tribe’s new digital store.
