Rinsed every Cyrus and Loefah track i've got and i need more of that flavor. Anyone got any names i might not of heard of?
Thanks
ps. is it just me or is there a real lack in dark minimal beats, barely any big producers making that sort of style any more

as already mentioned, ramadanman and pinch!
also d1, mala, moldy, spherix, untold....
theres loads of "dark and minimal" stuff but i kinda see your point with loefah and cyrus... theres few people who make such good tunes with little more than beat+sub.

yeah love breakage and sp tunes, tbh i know and like most the suggestions in this thread. there all sick, but i woudn't say any of them are like cyrus and loefah. perhaps its just those two who really make that kind of sound. oh well i'll just have to try and make my own

untold x 1,000,000
one of the darkest tunes for me last year was ramadanman's "blimey"... about as minimal as you get.

Overcast Radio in my signature... Midnight Sun is bare deepness.
As for why there isn't much of the uber deep stuff, it comes down to sales more than anything. It's being made, it's being pressed and it's not selling because it's not like "OH MY FUCKING GOD I CAN PLAY THIS IN A CLUB AND REWIND IT 20 TIMES... WANK WANK WANK"
The best you can usually hope for is breaking even unless you're Shackleton or some known quantity. There are TONS of people making it though.
