hack - an introduction to lazy - chill mix

Post by hack » Wed Mar 18, 2009 10:08 pm

This is more an introduction to my mixing style for dubstep tunes... and truely an introduction to a series of dubstep mixes to be released a few months apart from each other. Feedback is always appreciated. Please check out other mixes on our site if you enjoy this one. (http://www.mplsdub.com) Thank you!

Hack plays in the dark. A rising Minneapolis talent, Hack was first drawn
to electronic music by the skittering, aggressive sounds of drum n’ bass.
Even as he expanded his repetoire to include dubstep, breaks, electro-
house and trip-hop, his focus in each genre has remained on grime-
ridden basslines and beats fashioned from steel and concrete. His
versatility and talent in the DJ booth has made it possible for Hack to
share a stage with both legends and promising newcomers, including
Ewun, Infected Mushroom, Evol Intent, and Reid Speed. Committed to a
high standard, Hack’s sets are demonstrations of technical skill and crowd-
amping selection, insuring that he will remain a Twin Cities favorite far
into the future. myspace.com/midwest_hooligan

Sorry to be so annoying and keep bumping this, but I thought more people would be interested. Is it because the tunes are a little bit older?

Also, a new... much darker mix will be coming soon. whoo-ha!
