So my KRK RP5's finally arrived earlier today, along with this FCA202 Behringer soundcard:
But I just realised there's no way to control the volume going to the monitors, cos the Behringer doesnt have a volume control knob and my Mac stops being able to control the volume output and only has an on/off audio option

. What do I do? Return the FCA202 for something else or use the headphone jack output (which has a volume control) to send to my monitors? (this is probably unbalanced and bad practice right?) or find a 3rd party app which can control volume output of applications?
Thanks for any help!

You can't control the volume internally?
Strange.
You could try and find a monitor voltage controller, there are some floating around.

I always used to run a mixer in between my sound card and monitors. Now I have a USB box that has a knob on it. I keep it right where I need it.

I mean the "volume knobs" on the back of monitors arent really ideal for changing your listening level- Those should be a set and forget kinda deal.

if your soundcard doesn't have any sort of control panel I'd be very surprised.....If it doesn't I would swap it asap.

one giant fail for behringer
